    I have struggled with healthy eating and living my whole adult life. I finally found a way to change that back around 2007. I met Drew. Little did I know way back then when I first met Drew that what he was about to teach me about eating and working out and living a better life would end up being this great book. Detoxify Yourself. I am a bit of a pack rat and kept all of my food journals and work out programs. After reading Drew’s book the first time, I realized he had been telling me this all along.

    It is simple to follow and understand. Just like eating should be. Simple and easy. There is not one food on the list that I do not like. Cooking for one person can be challenging but the way Drew has set the menu up you use part of one nights meal for the next day.

    I have started another 30 day detox with Drew’s book. With holidays ending and the not so healthy eating, its time to get started.

    This 30 day meal plan is the perfect way to kick start a better way of life. You will find you have more energy and before you know it all those cravings for “bad food” will be gone and you will want to make better choices for yourself. I know I have.

    CTP – Complete Truth Protein is easy to use and I like the taste of it. I have tried both the Quinoa and Hemp Hearts and the Quinoa, Hemp Hearts, Maca and Stevia. I have made shakes and smoothies and used it in my baking. Drew’s recipes are awesome. I have made up some of my own as well. I will never go back to the other protein powders. Who needs all those additives. Not me.

    I came to this book hoping to find some answers about why I wasn’t succeeding with my health and fitness goals and I wasn’t disappointed. The first part of the book offers real insight and information about nutrition, and eliminating toxic substances from your lifestyle in a very readable format, (it’s more like sitting and chatting over a cup of tea than being lectured about all of the things that you are doing incorrectly in life). I particularly like the chapters centered around stress and emotional health. Drew Taddia sets a very supportive stage and gently leads the reader to question choices and to make very easy, small changes in order to reach a much larger goal. The book contains a 4 week meal plan also which is really easy to follow and simple and easy to prepare. The ingredients are easily found and preparation time is short. I would highly recommend this book as both a restart to a much healthier lifestyle but also as a support to encourage healthy minded people to reach a bit higher and to feel much better.

    “Detoxify Yourself” changed my life. If you’re looking to eat clean and get rid of the toxins in your life this book will guide you along the path to your success. Drew uses language that is easy to understand and focuses on gradually change over time which makes it manageable. One of my favourite sections in the book talks about a mental detox. Drew encourages the reader to look inside themselves to get rid of stress and teaches us how to be positive with ourselves. In addition, the meal plan and grocery lists helped me stay organized and on track. The great part is this is not a diet. This book takes you on a journey that will soon become the way you live.

    Before I met Drew and the inspiring members of his True Form classes I thought my diet was “fairly good”. I realized in time that it was far from good! Reading Detoxify Yourself was the start of a new direction towards healing myself. I already had a good sense of the harmful substances that are in most everyday products people use as well as how stress and mind cutter can affect your health; which Drew talks about in his book. The recipes and information Drew offers about the food we consume was exactly what I needed. More energy, mind clarity and the general increase in my health are the benefits I have experienced from using the information contained in Detoxify Yourself. Thanks Drew for a very informative and easy to understand book!

    I have self proclaim-ably most of my life been an awful eater. I am “busy” like the rest of the world and I like things to be quick and easy. I’ve used every excuse in the book of how eating healthy is boring or doesnt taste as good or takes too much time or is too expensive. The thing I love the most about Drew Taddia’s book “Detoxify Yourself” is the information it provides. Things I was eating on a very regular basis and having no idea how bad they were for me. I have never been one to look at anything on the nutrition label except maybey calories and fat (when I was pretending to try and eat healthy) and now find myself automatically looking at the ingredients. This book provides you with the tools and knowledge to make better decisions about not only what you are putting in your body, but also, the thoughts you are allowing about yourself in your own head. Am I now super healthy and never slip? No. Did I make it through the entire detox without eating a burger? Get real. Do I understand its not a 30 day change, its a lifestyle change? Yes. This book is an invaluable resource to improving your health through your mind, body, and soul.
